Job summary

Sentinel is carrying out a major OT security uplift with an IT/OT IAM transformation. You will plan, coordinate and deliver spans across cybersecurity, enterprise IT and plant operations, shaping identity architecture and implementation roadmaps.

The role requires strong leadership in complex, cross-functional programmes and deep knowledge of OT cybersecurity and IAM, including Entra/Azure AD, AD, PAM and access governance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in project or programme management, with 5+ years in cybersecurity or identity transformation.
• Strong track record delivering cybersecurity transformation programmes in global/industrial settings.
• Experience in OT/industrial cybersecurity environments and ISA/IEC 62443 familiarity.

OT Cybersecurity Project Manager – IT/OT Identity & Access Management

12 Month Contract with possibility of becoming permanent

As part of a major global OT Security Uplift Programme, the business is strengthening cybersecurity capabilities across manufacturing plants, logistics centres, warehouses and repair centres worldwide.

They are looking for an experienced OT Cybersecurity Project Manager to lead a key IT/OT Identity & Access Management transformation initiative, establishing secure and scalable identity principles across enterprise IT and operational technology environments.

The Role

As OT Cybersecurity Project Manager, you’ll lead the planning, coordination and execution of IT/OT IAM initiatives, working across cybersecurity, enterprise infrastructure, manufacturing operations, enterprise architecture and plant engineering teams.

A major focus will be translating IT/OT identity architecture and demarcation principles into executable implementation roadmaps, covering areas including Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, privileged access management and access governance.

This is a senior project/programme management position requiring enough technical understanding of OT cybersecurity and IAM to facilitate architecture discussions, challenge stakeholders and coordinate complex security decisions across a global industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of global IT/OT Identity & Access Management transformation initiatives.
• Coordinate the implementation of IT/OT identity demarcation, governance and operating models.
• Translate target-state security and identity architecture into executable project roadmaps.
• Manage scope, milestones, dependencies, risks and delivery outcomes across multiple workstreams.
• Coordinate stakeholders across cybersecurity, enterprise IT, manufacturing operations, architecture and external partners.
• Facilitate workshops and decision forums covering identity architecture, access governance, PAM and OT security requirements.
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise security standards and ISA/IEC 62443 principles.
• Drive stakeholder engagement, organisational readiness and adoption of new identity governance processes and controls.
• Provide executive-level reporting and decision support to programme sponsors and steering committees.
• Support the transition of new capabilities into steady-state operations.

Your Background

• 8+ years’ project or programme management experience, with at least 5 years focused on cybersecurity or identity transformation initiatives.
• Strong experience delivering complex cybersecurity transformation programmes, ideally within global or industrial environments.
• Experience working within OT/industrial cybersecurity environments.
• Good understanding of OT security standards and frameworks, particularly ISA/IEC 62443.
• Familiarity with identity and access management concepts, including areas such as Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD, Active Directory, privileged access management and access governance, would be highly relevant.
• Experience coordinating technical stakeholders across cybersecurity, infrastructure, architecture and operational teams.
• Proven experience managing complex, global and cross-functional transformation programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, risk management and change management capabilities.
• Experience communicating with senior leadership and steering committees.
• CISSP, CISM, PMP, PRINCE2 or similar certifications would be advantageous.
