Job summary

Lam Research in Batu Kawan, Penang, Malaysia, is seeking a Global Customer Operations professional to manage system bookings and ensure timely shipments for Lam tools worldwide.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage system bookings and order entries.
• Maintain open communication across departments.
• Identify and resolve booking issues with Sales Ops and Regional teams.
• Drive timely resolution of orders.
• Analyze and track system orders for customers and Lam offices.
• Review PO terms for completeness and accuracy.
• Escalate discrepancies with proposed solutions to the Proposal Response Team.
• Send customers acknowledgements for approved orders.
• Collaborate with other departments to release Sales Orders and shipments.
• Maintain sales orders by validating PO/config changes.
• Close system sales order files with complete documentation.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

The group you'll be a part of

The Global Customer Operations Group brings industry insights and experience to help our customers deliver on their technology roadmaps. We work tirelessly to earn the trust of our customers, because we know that working closely together leads to the highest quality outcomes.

What you'll do

• Responsible for system bookings.
• Establishes and maintains an open line of communication between departments.
• Helps identifying and solving booking issues by proposing solutions to Sales Operation Team as well as Sales Regional Team.
• Drives resolution of orders received.
• Responsible for analysis, review, and status tracking of systems orders for customers and Lam offices.
• Reviews system purchase orders terms and conditions for completeness and accuracy.
• Evaluates discrepancies identified during purchase order review and brings recommended solutions to Proposal Response Team for resolution.
• Responsible for sending customers acknowledgement of approved orders.
• Works with other departments to release Sales Orders and ensure timely shipments of tools.
• Responsible for sales order maintenance by validating sales orders and monitoring any PO or configuration changes.
• Responsible for closing system sales order files by filing complete and accurate documentation relating to the sale.
• May perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

Preferred qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with at least 1-5 years' experience in sales or order management within an international company, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
