Job summary

Talent Trader Group Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to manage and optimize Oracle databases across versions (11g/12c/19c/23c). The role covers maintenance, patching, migrations, and DR planning in hybrid environments, including on-premise and AWS.

You will ensure high availability and performance, tune SQL/PLSQL, and automate tasks using Bash scripts. A strong foundation in RMAN, ASM, AWR/ADDM, and AWS services is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of hands-on Oracle Database Administration experience, preferably in production environments.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle architecture: CDB/PDB, single-instance, backups, and patching.
• Experience with RMAN, ASM, Data Pump, AWR/ADDM, and PL/SQL.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and patch Oracle databases across versions (11g/12c/19c/23c).
• Ensure availability, security, and reliability in production environments.
• Manage storage with ASM and on-premise SAN in hybrid setups.
• Perform migrations using Data Pump, Transportable Tablespaces, and AWS DMS.
• Develop backups, recovery, and DR procedures using RMAN and AWS snapshots.
• Tune performance, analyze AWR/ADDM reports, and optimize SQL/PLSQL.
• Automate routine tasks with Bash and SQL/PLSQL scripts.
• Apply CPUs on RHEL systems and manage users/privileges in AWS IAM.
