Job summary

Wolfspeed in Ipoh, Malaysia is seeking a skilled Oracle Database Administrator to manage and patch an Oracle environment (19c/23c) while supporting legacy versions. You will configure ASM storage, monitor health, and tune performance across on-premises hosts and AWS deployments.

The role covers data migrations with Data Pump and Transportable Tablespaces, backup design with RMAN, security patching, and enforcing IAM controls in the cloud.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of hands-on production enterprise DB management experience.
• Experience with Oracle 19c/23c and legacy versions (11g/12c).
• Deep experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments.

Responsibilities

• Administer, patch, and support Oracle infrastructure (19c/23c) and legacy versions.
• Manage ASM storage mapped to SAN arrays and tune layouts.
• Operate in hybrid environments across bare-metal, AWS EC2, and AWS RDS Custom.
• Execute cross-platform data migrations using Data Pump and Transportable Tablespaces.
• Design and run backup frameworks with RMAN and cloud storage (AWS).
• Perform automated tuning using AWR/ADDM and shell scripts.
• Implement security with quarterly CPU updates and IAM controls.
• Maintain RHEL systems and shell-based administration.
