Coherent Corp. Malaysia invites a Diploma/Bachelor holder in Electrical, Electronics, Optoelectronics or Telecommunications to join our Test & Development team in Ipoh.

You will assist with setup, debugging and testing, support evaluations and analysis, ensure compliance with safety and ISO standards, and contribute to continual improvement through structured problem solving. Strong electronics background and PCBA testing familiarity are preferred, with the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Optoelectronics or Telecommunications).
• Experience in optical device testing/debug/repair/setup in mass production is an advantage.
• Familiar with circuit diagrams and a strong background in Electronics.
• Experience with PCBA troubleshooting is preferred.
• Must be able to work independently and with support teams as needed.

Responsabilités

• Assist Test & Development Engineer with setup, debug and test.
• Support evaluations, projects, test verifications/qualifications and debugging on failure.
• Monitor Scrap Cost by Product.
• Ensure compliance to Safety, ESD, Cleanroom and Housekeeping guidelines.
• Capable of working with minimum supervision.
• Take on additional duties as directed by supervisor.
• Derive continual improvement and practice risk-based thinking in planning and execution.
• Comply with ISO requirements and company rules.
