Funding Societies | Modalku is the largest SME digital finance platform in Southeast Asia, licensed and operating in multiple countries including Malaysia. We are looking for a results-driven professional to help oversee daily operations in our Kuala Lumpur office and support growth in SME lending products.

In this role you will review applications, ensure KYC/AML compliance, coordinate disbursements and collections, and collaborate with credit, legal, and finance teams to drive efficiency and

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in financial institutions or NBFI operations.
• Strong understanding of SME lending products: factoring, term loans, revolving credit.
• Willingness to learn tools and contribute ideas for automating processes.
• Clear communicator who collaborates well with internal teams and follows through on tasks.
• Proficiency with Excel; exposure to SQL or Power BI is a plus.
• Meticulous attention to detail, reliable under tight timelines, proactive.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations: application review, KYC/AML checks, disbursement coordination, and fund collection tracking.
• Ensure end-to-end operational integrity of financing transactions (factoring, term loans, revolving credit).
• Monitor repayment schedules; liaise with internal teams on overdue follow-ups; support recovery.
• Maintain accurate records and audit trails per regulatory and internal SOPs.
• Act as liaison with credit, legal, finance, and collections to resolve bottlenecks.
• Guide and support junior team members in operational processes and controls.
• Drive continuous improvements in process efficiency, documentation quality, and risk mitigation.
• Involve in ad-hoc projects or duties as assigned.
