Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology in Malaysia is seeking an Operator II to support degreasing, pickling, passivation, electro polish, washing and related processes on the manufacturing line to ensure high-quality output and on-time delivery.

The role requires the ability to read drawings, work in a cleanroom, perform shift work and OT if needed, and participate in continuous improvement while maintaining safety and housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

• Able to work independently and follow directions with minimal supervision.
• Able to read and interpret basic Engineering drawings.
• Able to speak and write simple English.
• Team player with good problem solving skills.
• Basic computer literacy is required.
• Able to carry heavy loads (up to 20 kg).
• Willing to work in a cleanroom environment (protective gear required).
• Willing to work shift and OT if required.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain production and quality output on the manufacturing line.
• Follow schedules and specifications, drawings, and work instructions.
• Ensure proper handover to the next shift with clear communication.
• Highlight problems or abnormalities promptly.
• Provide training and buddy system for new colleagues.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain housekeeping and comply with cleanroom protocols.
• Support ad hoc duties and tasks as assigned by supervisor.

UCT is looking for a talented Operator II to join us in Malaysia!

Role Summary

Responsible for manufacturing degreasing, pickling, passivation, electro polish, washing processes, production output, quality, on-time delivery, process improvement, safety and housekeeping in the manufacturing line to manufacture high quality products for customers with the objective of ensuring smooth business operations within department guidelines, work protocols and corporate policies.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Responsible for production and quality output
• Perform processes according to schedule and required specifications, drawings, and work instructions
• Ensure full and efficient passdown to the next shift.
• Highlight any problems or abnormalities
• Provide training activities for new comer (buddy system)
• Take part in continuous improvement activities
• Perform housekeeping, adhere to manufacturing discipline and cleanroom protocol
• Support any relevant ad hoc duties and tasking assign by the superior.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience

• Able to work independently
• Able to speak and write simple English
• Able to read and interpret basic Engineering drawing
• Team player with good problem solving skills
• Basic computer literacy.
• Able to carry heavy loads (up to 20Kg)
• Must be willing to work in the cleanroom environment: wearing jumpsuits, safety helmet and safety shoes
• Must be willing to work shift work and OT if required1 year manufacturing experience preferred or prior working experience in manufacturing environment
• 2 years of working experience in the related field would be an advantage
• 1-2 years working in machine shop, assembly clean rooms. Semi-Conductor and/or similar industry

Education, Certifications, Requirements

• N/O levels/Nitec in any discipline or its equivalent
• At least SPM for Malaysian or equivalent cert in other countries.

Physical Demands

• Ability to climb, stoops, kneels, crouch, reach, walk, push, pull and grasp.

• Required to have visual acuity to perform assigned tasks

• Subject to hazards including electrical current, moving mechanical parts, exposure to chemicals and debris.
