Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology in Malaysia is seeking an Operator II to join our manufacturing team. The role covers degreasing, pickling, passivation, electro polish, washing, and ensuring on-time delivery and quality in a cleanroom environment.

You will support process improvements, maintain housekeeping, and assist with training and handovers. Candidates should read basic engineering drawings, operate with safety gear, and be willing to shift work and OT.

Qualifications

• Able to work independently.
• Able to speak and write simple English.
• Able to read and interpret basic Engineering drawing.
• Team player with good problem solving skills.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Able to carry heavy loads (up to 20Kg).
• Willing to work in the cleanroom environment with PPE.
• Willing to work shift and OT if required.
• 1 year manufacturing experience preferred or prior manufacturing experience.
• 2 years related field experience would be an advantage.
• 1-2 years in machine shop/assembly clean rooms; semiconductor industry a plus.
• N/O levels/Nitec or equivalent; SPM or equivalent cert.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for production and quality output.
• Perform processes according to schedule and required specifications, drawings, and work instructions.
• Ensure full and efficient passdown to the next shift.
• Highlight any problems or abnormalities.
• Provide training activities for new comer (buddy system).
• Take part in continuous improvement activities.
• Perform housekeeping, adhere to manufacturing discipline and cleanroom protocol.
• Support ad hoc duties and tasks assigned by the superior.

Role Summary:

Responsible for manufacturing degreasing, pickling, passivation, electro polish, washing processes, production output, quality, on-time delivery, process improvement, safety and housekeeping in the manufacturing line to manufacture high quality products for customers with the objective of ensuring smooth business operations within department guidelines, work protocols and corporate policies.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience:

• Able to work independently

• Must be willing to work in the cleanroom environment: wearing jumpsuits, safety helmet and safety shoes

• Must be willing to work shift work and OT if required1 year manufacturing experience preferred or prior working experience in manufacturing environment

• 2 years of working experience in the related field would be an advantage

• 1-2 years working in machine shop, assembly clean rooms. Semi-Conductor and/or similar industry

• N/O levels/Nitec in any discipline or its equivalent
• At least SPM for Malaysian or equivalent cert in other countries.

Education, Certifications, Requirements:

• N/O levels/Nitec in any discipline or its equivalent
• At least SPM for Malaysian or equivalent cert in other countries.

Work Environment :

Physical Demands :

• Subject to hazards including electrical current, moving mechanical parts, exposure to chemicals and debris.
