Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology invites a skilled Operator II to join our Penang manufacturing team. You will handle degreasing, pickling, passivation, electro polish and washing processes to produce high-quality products while ensuring on-time delivery and safety.

Requirements include the ability to read engineering drawings, basic English, and 1–2 years in manufacturing or related fields. You will work in a cleanroom environment and participate in continuous improvement initiatives, with potential OT

Qualifications

• Must be able to work independently and as a team member.
• Basic English reading/writing skills required.
• Able to read and interpret simple engineering drawings.
• Willing to work in a cleanroom environment with PPE.
• Experience in manufacturing environments preferred (1–2 years).
• Willing to work shifts and overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture degreasing, pickling, passivation, electro polish, and washing processes.
• Ensure production output and quality meet specifications.
• Maintain on-time delivery and housekeeping in the line.
• Record passdowns to the next shift and highlight issues.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Perform related ad hoc duties as assigned.

Role Summary

Responsible for manufacturing degreasing, pickling, passivation, electro polish, washing processes, production output, quality, on-time delivery, process improvement, safety and housekeeping in the manufacturing line to manufacture high quality products for customers with the objective of ensuring smooth business operations within department guidelines, work protocols and corporate policies.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for production and quality output
• Perform processes according to schedule and required specifications, drawings, and work instructions
• Ensure full and efficient passdown to the next shift.
• Highlight any problems or abnormalities
• Provide training activities for new comer (buddy system)
• Take part in continuous improvement activities
• Perform housekeeping, adhere to manufacturing discipline and cleanroom protocol
• Support any relevant ad hoc duties and tasking assign by the superior.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience

• Able to work independently
• Able to speak and write simple English
• Able to read and interpret basic Engineering drawing
• Team player with good problem solving skills
• Basic computer literacy.
• Able to carry heavy loads (up to 20Kg)
• Must be willing to work in the cleanroom environment: wearing jumpsuits, safety helmet and safety shoes
• Must be willing to work shift work and OT if required1 year manufacturing experience preferred or prior working experience in manufacturing environment
• 2 years of working experience in the related field would be an advantage
• 1-2 years working in machine shop, assembly clean rooms. Semi-Conductor and/or similar industry

Education, Certifications, Requirements

• N/O levels/Nitec in any discipline or its equivalent
• At least SPM for Malaysian or equivalent cert in other countries.

Physical Demands

• Ability to climb, stoops, kneels, crouch, reach, walk, push, pull and grasp.
