Job summary

ON Semiconductor Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Hardware MS to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair probe card hardware and production equipment.

The role focuses on ensuring stable system performance and minimizing downtime while supporting daily operations in a cleanroom environment. The candidate should have SPM or Polytechnic certificates and a Diploma/Certificate in Engineering, with hands-on experience in preventive maintenance and semiconductor equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience with preventive maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs.
• Good teamwork, positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for manufacturing and maintenance on shift basis.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine tasks.
• Carry out basic troubleshooting and minor repairs on wafer manufacturing equipment.
• Perform daily 5S in the work area.
• Adhere to safety rules and regulations in a cleanroom environment.
• Support ad-hoc activities assigned by supervisor/shift leader.
• Suggest ideas and participate in equipment continuous improvement projects.

• Experience in semiconductor / cleanroom equipment would be added value.
• Good team player, positive & willing to learn attitude.
• Basic verbal & written communication skills.
• PC literate (Microsoft application) Words, Excel, Power Point.
