Job summary

onsemi is seeking a Maintenance Support technician in Malaysia to assist shift and PM activities. You will help troubleshoot tools, prepare consumables, and uphold 5S standards in the work area. The role involves inventory management and daily reporting to ensure smooth operations.

Ideal candidates hold SKM in industrial electronic or related field, with polytechnic or college certificates, and SPM level. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; 12-hour shift pattern may apply to meet production

Willingness to learn and grow.
Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) in industrial electronic or related field.
Sijil kolej/community polytechnic or private college.
SPM level – fresh graduates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Assist Shift or PM technician with daily routine activity, tool issue troubleshooting, consumable PM part preparation and shield standby.
Maintain area 5S and drive 5S activities.
Manage consumable parts inventory and metal scrap handling.
Support chemical drain/change/top up consumables or spare parts orders.
Daily reporting for inventory, completed PM tasks and follow-up.
Recover minor stoppages of tools per OCAP guidelines.
Attend daily meetings to highlight issues and needs for the day.
Send out daily reports on work activity and 5S clean before shift end.
Willing to work normal hours upon request to support operations.
