Job summary

A.P. Moller - Maersk is seeking an experienced Logistics & Warehouse Supervisor in Shah Alam to lead daily warehouse and logistics activities, ensuring accurate receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping. This role focuses on improving efficiency, accuracy, and service levels through WMS and SAP utilization.

You will supervise a team, monitor KPIs, and coordinate with suppliers, transport providers, and internal departments to meet business needs. Lean practices are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain operations.
• At least 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Practical experience using SAP in logistics, warehouse, or inventory management functions.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate daily warehouse and logistics activities including inbound, outbound, inventory control, and order fulfilment.
• Ensure smooth execution of receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping processes.
• Monitor operational performance and drive continuous improvement to boost efficiency and service levels.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and procedures.
• Maintain and optimise WMS operations to ensure inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Utilise WMS and SAP for inventory management, order processing, stock reconciliation, reporting, and monitoring.
• Supervise warehouse staff, provide coaching, and promote a positive, collaborative work environment.
• Prepare operational reports and analyse KPIs such as on-time delivery and warehouse productivity.
• Coordinate with suppliers, transport providers, customers, and internal departments.
