Job summary

Contacthings in Penang is seeking an experienced Operation Manager to oversee daily operations across office, projects, procurement, logistics and administration. You will drive operational excellence, resource planning, and cross-functional coordination to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years in operations management within automation or manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Company across Office, Projects, Purchasing, Store, Logistics, and Administration.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor operational activities to ensure timely project execution and customer satisfaction.
• Develop, implement, and improve operational processes, SOPs, and workflow efficiency.
• Monitor project progress, resource allocation, and operational performance to meet company objectives.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Production, and Finance Teams to support business operations.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Prepare operational reports, KPIs, budgets, and performance analysis for Management.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Operations Team to achieve departmental goals.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management.
