Job summary

Funding Societies | Modalku in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is offering a finance internship for 3–6 months. You will assist in reviewing applications, verifying initial SME transactions, liaising with service providers and financial institutions, and supporting timely project delivery.

The ideal candidate is pursuing a degree in finance or accounting, has keen attention to detail, strong analytical and communication skills, and is fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in executing tasks within turnaround time.
• Review and assess applications for initiatives.
• Verify and validate initial transactions between SMEs and service providers.
• Liaise with service providers and financial institutions to ensure smooth operations.
• Perform due diligence on service submissions to ensure legitimacy.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects or duties as assigned.

What will you do:

• To assist in executing tasks assigned within turnaround time.
• To review and assess applications for various initiatives.
• To verify and validate initial transactions between SMEs and service providers.
• To liaise with service providers and financial institutions to ensure smooth operations.
• To perform due diligence on service submissions to ensure the legitimacy of the service provided.
• To collaborate closely with essential parties, including those within the organization and external stakeholders, to guarantee timely delivery of projects or tasks.
• Involve in any ad-hoc projects or duties assigned from time to time.

What Are We Looking For

• Currently pursuing a degree in finance, accounting, or any related field.
• Attention to details and hands on attitude able to complete tasks with tight deadlines
• An analytical mindset with excellent organizational skills
• Strong critical thinking, problem solving and communication skills
• Sound judgment and strong sense of ethics
• Fluent in English speaking and writing is a must (can speak/write in Bahasa is a bonus)
• Able to commit 3-6 months internship.
• Able to commit for 5 days in a week during the internship period.

This internship comes with a monthly allowance of RM1,000.
