Instamedia is seeking an Operations Intern to support our events team in delivering activations. You will help prepare and test equipment, follow SOPs and checklists, and join on-site setups from the warehouse to the event floor.

This role offers hands-on learning in event tech, logistics, and inventory management with duties including testing gear, assisting with setups, and ensuring smooth operations during events. Monthly stipend provided and MD-status company experience.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed diploma/degree.
• Willing to work weekends/evenings when events require.
• Able to follow SOPs and checklists consistently.
• Basic familiarity with AV/equipment is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Follow SOPs, checklists and quality checks to minimise failures.
• Help troubleshoot basic technical issues and escalations when needed.

Instamedia is a Malaysia Digital (MD) status company that has delivered more than 6,000 activations since 2012. The Operations Intern supports our ops team in delivering event deployments and on-ground activations. You'll help prepare and test equipment, follow checklists and SOPs, and join setups on site, learning how we deliver premium interactive experiences for brands from the warehouse to the event floor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help prepare, pack, test and maintain event equipment before deployments
• Support setup, dismantle and on-site operations at events
• Assist with logistics, timing and inventory movement
• Follow SOPs, checklists and quality checks to minimise failures

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree; Event Management, Engineering or IT is a plus
• Responsible, punctual and comfortable with physical, hands-on work
• Detail-oriented and able to follow SOPs and checklists consistently
• Able to work weekends or evenings when event schedules require
• Bonus: Basic technical familiarity with AV, PC or equipment setup
