Job summary

CluedIn in Malaysia is seeking an Operations Engineer with a strong Microsoft Azure and .NET focus to design software for deployment in Azure and to ensure scalable cloud solutions.

You will collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud and on‑premises systems, implement security controls with Azure Key Vault, write automation scripts, and monitor performance using Azure Insights. This role is based in our KL partner offices.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience with Microsoft Azure stack.
• Knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS in cloud environments.
• Proficient in YAML (YML), Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Understanding of security and compliance requirements in cloud deployments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

The role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Engineer with a strong background in Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of cloud technologies and will be responsible for building software for deployment in Azure.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design software for deployment in Azure, including the deployment and configuration of cloud services, such as Azure Container Registry, Azure Azure Market Place, Azure Key Vault, and Azure Insights service


• Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration between cloud and on-premises systems


• Implement security and compliance controls for cloud systems using Azure Key Vault and ensure adherence to best practices


• Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure technologies and trends, and recommend improvements to existing systems


• Write scripts to automate repetitive tasks and improve system efficiency


• Utilize Azure Insights to monitor and analyze system performance

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• 2-3 years of experience in Microsoft Azure stack


• Extensive knowledge of cloud technologies such as IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS


• Extensive knowledge of yml, docker, kubernetes and helm


• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues


• Good understanding of security and compliance requirements, and experience implementing them in a cloud environment


• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills


• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Azure Bicep & Terraform


• Understanding of .Net core and experience in developing applications using the .Net framework


• Grafana, Prometheus and Elk stack
