Job summary

bp is seeking an experienced Operational Security Management Lead to oversee security operations for BP Asia, ensuring alignment with global policies and local laws. You will drive incident investigations, implement robust incident management, and guide business units on risk mitigation and information security best practices.

You will lead assurance activities to protect information assets, promote security awareness, and manage supplier security programs across the region.

Qualifications

• Operational security management experience in a large organisation.
• Experience in consulting, incident investigation and resolution.
• In-depth knowledge of information assurance and security principles.
• Ability to influence security behaviour and drive change.
• Strong risk management capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in supplier relationship management and supplier security frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational security posture for BP Asia region and ensure policy alignment.
• Drive incident investigation and remediation during security incidents.
• Develop and implement incident management frameworks.
• Advise business units on information security best practices and risk mitigation.
• Lead information assurance activities ensuring integrity, confidentiality, availability.
• Promote information security awareness and positive behaviours.
• Conduct comprehensive risk management and mitigation.
• Engage stakeholders and manage internal/external relationships.
• Manage supplier relationships and ensure third-party security compliance.
• Oversee supplier security programs and evaluation of vendors.
