Aleta Planet Pte. Ltd. in Kuala Lumpur seeks an Operational Risk & Controls Coordinator to strengthen the control environment, formalise product governance, and support risk, audit, and compliance activities across the organisation.

You will drive governance for new product launches, enhance controls, maintain risk registers, collaborate with multiple functions, and support audits and remediation, leveraging AI and automation to improve monitoring and control effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, Banking, Information Systems or other relevant disciplines.
• Minimum 4–8 years of experience in operational risk, internal controls, governance, compliance, or related fields.
• Experience in fintech, payments, financial services, or other regulated industries.
• Strong documentation discipline and sound understanding of risk and control frameworks.
• Familiarity with audits, regulatory requirements, and structured change management processes.

Responsabilités

• Drive structured product governance for new product launches and material changes
• Strengthen operational controls, including segregation of duties, maker-checker processes, and incident reporting frameworks
• Collaborate with Operations, Product, Technology, Compliance, Finance, and Risk teams to uphold governance standards
• Maintain and update risk registers, including tracking mitigation and remediation actions
• Ensure proper documentation, approvals, and go-live readiness processes are completed
• Support audits, including evidence preparation and remediation tracking
• Leverage AI and automation tools to enhance monitoring, reporting, and control effectiveness
