Job summary

Air Liquide in Malaysia is seeking a Performance Analytics Engineer to drive operational excellence across the East Asia Pacific cluster. You will leverage advanced data analytics, automated operating models, and diagnostic tools to maximize plant uptime and efficiency, acting as a bridge between the Remote Operations Control Center and site teams.

You will monitor equipment, resolve deviations, lead RCA sessions, and deploy digital dashboards and SOPs while driving continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering with 2+ years of relevant experience in plant operations or process engineering.
• Strong fundamentals in ASU processes, process control/DCS, and data analytics.

Responsibilities

• Analyze airgas plant operations, eliminate bottlenecks, minimize operational waste, and execute MPC/MVS strategies.
• Conduct daily monitoring, resolve operational deviations, perform RCA, and lead troubleshooting reviews with site teams and SMEs.
• Support pre-/post-crisis operations during plant upsets or trips, provide operational guidance, and ensure business continuity.
• Deploy Liquid Mass Balance tools, drive Continuous Improvement Projects, and standardize digital dashboards and SOPs.
