Job summary

Air Liquide is seeking a Performance Analytics Engineer in Malaysia to drive operational excellence across the East Asia Pacific cluster. You will leverage advanced data analytics, MPC/MVS strategies, and diagnostic tools to maximize plant uptime and efficiency, acting as a bridge between the Remote Operations Center and site teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering with 2+ years of plant operations or process engineering.
• Strong fundamentals in ASU processes, process control/DCS, and data analytics.
• English fluency and cross-functional communication skills; willingness to respond after hours during emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Analyze plant operations, identify bottlenecks, minimize operational waste (flaring/venting/power loss).
• Monitor daily operations, resolve deviations, perform Root Cause Analysis, and lead troubleshooting with site teams.
