Job summary

Remote People Ltd. in Klang, Selangor invites a meticulous Operation Specialist to join our freight forwarding team. You will manage bookings, prepare export/import docs (MBL/HBL), submit manifest data, coordinate with internal teams and carriers, and assist with billing processes.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in logistics or supply chain, has at least 1 year in freight forwarding, and is fluent in English and Chinese. Local Malaysian Chinese candidates are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in logistics, supply chain management or related discipline.
• At least 1 year of relevant freight forwarding or logistics experience.
• Fluent in English and Chinese.
• Open to local Malaysian Chinese candidates.

Responsibilities

• Booking Management: Receive booking requests from customers and issue instructions to liners, co-loaders, customs brokers, and trucking companies.
• Documentation: Prepare and manage Ocean and Air freight export/import documents, including MBL, HBL, and other related paperwork.
• Data Submission: Ensure timely and accurate submission of SI, VGM, AMS, ISF, and ENS manifest information.
• Coordination: Act as a key point of contact for internal departments, customers, vendors, and carriers to ensure smooth business operations.
• Finance Support: Manage the billing process and fee settlements.
