Job summary

EXCEL FREIGHT MANAGEMENT SDN BHD is seeking an Operations Planner to develop and implement comprehensive plans to optimise the flow of goods and resources in Kulai. You will coordinate transportation, warehousing, and distribution to meet customer demands and monitor KPIs to keep operations running smoothly.

With 1 year of relevant experience or a fresh graduate, you will analyse data, identify improvement opportunities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality service

Job description

Developing and implementing comprehensive operational plans to optimise the flow of goods and resources. Coordinating and scheduling transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities to meet customer demands. Analysing data and identifying opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address logistical challenges and find innovative solutions. Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators to ensure the operations are running smoothly. Providing guidance and support to the operations team to ensure they are equipped to deliver high-quality service.

About you

• Minimum 1 years of experience in a similar Operation Planner or logistics planning role, or fresh graduate
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to optimise operations and drive continuous improvement
• Proficient in using logistics management software and data analysis tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders
• Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Tertiary qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field is preferred
