Job summary

Weir is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to join our onsite team in Batu Caves, Malaysia. You will perform warehouse functions including receipt, storage, issuance, labeling, packing, fumigation, marshalling, and loading to ensure smooth daily operations, while helping maintain stock accuracy and safety.

Successful candidates will have SPM or relevant certificates and 1–2 years in warehouse roles, with good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Qualifications

SPM or relevant certificates.
1–2 years' experience in warehouse functions.
Good command of spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

Carry out warehouse functions: receipt, storage, issuance, labeling, packing, fumigation, marshalling, and loading.
Maintain stock accuracy by FIFO and timely transfers of materials or goods.
Count, weigh, inspect external packaging to ensure quality.
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
Maintain accurate stock records and timely processing of warehouse activities.
Support a safe and efficient work environment in a shift-based onsite setting.
