Job summary

Insulet Corporation in Malaysia is seeking a Tax Analyst to support Malaysia tax compliance and reporting. You will work closely with business units to support strategic initiatives, handling income tax under local and US GAAP, as well as direct and indirect taxes in a fast-paced environment.

The role is full-time and onsite at the Insulet Malaysia plant, with opportunities to engage in cross-border tax projects and coordination with external advisors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Taxation or related discipline.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant tax experience in Malaysia corporate tax, public accounting, shared services, or multinational environment.
• Experience with corporate tax compliance, withholding tax, service tax/ imported taxable services, tax provisions, reconciliations, and external tax advisors is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in calculation, filing and payment of Malaysia and Singapore tax obligations, including estimates, annual returns, and withholding tax.
• Prepare Malaysia indirect tax filings monthly.
• Manage APAC tax compliance calendar and coordinate inputs with tax team and external advisors.
• Assist to prepare MIDA annual compliance report to maintain tax incentive.
• Assist in quarterly and annual tax provisions for Malaysia under Local and US GAAP.
• Assist with cross-border transactions, including transfer pricing documentation.
• Assist with Malaysia tax audits and responses to notices.
• Maintain and improve tax-related compliance and business processes.
• Research tax issues and draft memoranda as required.
• Prepare tax analyses, analytical support, and other assistance for special projects.
