Job summary

SOL POWER ENGINEERING SDN. BHD. is seeking a Project Engineer (Mechanical/Electrical) to manage and plan solar farm construction projects in Sabah. The role involves supervising site staff, resolving construction issues, and ensuring on-time delivery while controlling costs.

The candidate should have experience in the solar industry, be hardworking, analytical, and capable of working independently with good interpersonal and communication skills. Outstation work may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in solar PV installation is advantageous.
• Able to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
• Willing to outstation and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage and plan construction projects and monitor progress.
• Supervise site staff and resolve construction issues.
• Plan manpower resources and ensure on-time project delivery.
• Control materials and labor costs within budget.
• Review designs, BOQs and schedule changes to keep within budget.
• Ensure projects are delivered on schedule.
