Coherent Corp. is seeking a on-site Process/Manufacturing Support role in Malaysia (Ipoh) to assist the process engineer, maintain equipment, and drive improvements for yield targets.

The role requires a Diploma in Engineering and at least 1 year of mass production experience, with strong computer literacy and communication skills. Collaboration with the Coherent team and adherence to safety and quality standards are essential.

Formación

• Diploma in Engineering (Electrical and Electronics or Mechanical).
• At least 1 year experience in related industry and in mass production environment.
• Candidates without appropriate experience may be considered by the hiring manager with buddying and learning duration.

Responsabilidades

• Support manufacturing requirements for DA and WB processes.
• Assist the process engineer in achieving yield targets.
• Maintain and qualify equipment, tools/fixtures for production.
• Perform periodic verification and calibration on equipment/tools/fixtures.
• Provide technical process support to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Execute small improvement projects to improve process performance and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with Safety, ESD, Cleanroom and housekeeping guidelines.
• Practice risk-based thinking in planning and execution of tasks.
• Derive continual improvement.
• Manage product documentation and transfer readiness.
