Job summary

TransPerfect Games is seeking a dedicated Gaming QA Tester (FQA) to join our Selangor, Malaysia office. You will test the next big hit across indie to AAA titles, documenting issues with reproducible steps and delivering timely feedback.

Ideal candidates excel in English communication, can execute predefined test plans, and have a strong eye for detail. Onsite work hours Mon–Fri, with a focus on quality and collaboration across QA teams and clients.

Qualifications

• Excellent written communication skills in English.
• Ability to execute predefined test cases and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail to reproduce and document defects.
• Ability to think critically and identify inconsistencies and quality issues.
• Ability to communicate testing results, defects, and observations clearly.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with QA team members and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage workload and meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Execute assigned test cases using predefined test runs per the test plan.
• Proactively suggest improvements to test cases, test suites, and execution approaches.
• Participate in test strategy discussions and provide constructive feedback.
• Provide feedback on gameplay, balance, and player experience during testing cycles.
• Record test results, observed behaviors, defects, and deviations from expected results.
• Collaborate with Automation Engineers to identify test cases for automation.
• Report and track defects with sufficient detail to aid resolution.
• Coordinate with development teams to ensure timely defect resolution.
• Work with QA Leads to clarify test execution details and test coverage.
• Collaborate with QA Compliance Testers to ensure regulatory compliance during testing.
• Maintain and update test documentation including test data and environments.
• Monitor test execution progress and provide status updates.
