Job summary

RMA Consultants Pte Ltd is seeking a Delivery Project Engineer to lead onsite delivery, commissioning, testing and troubleshooting of BMS and automation systems for data center projects in Malaysia (Johor Bahru).

The role involves PLC programming modifications, SCADA/HMI configuration, and interpretation of electrical drawings, with coordination across clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams. Travel to sites is required and hands-on problem solving is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or above in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, Electronics, Computer Engineering or related disciplines.
• Experience in BMS, PLC automation, electrical commissioning or data center projects is preferred.
• Experience with mission-critical facilities or industrial automation projects will be an advantage.
• Proficient in Siemens, Schneider Electric and Rockwell (Allen-Bradley) PLC platforms.
• Familiar with WinCC SCADA systems.
• Experience with MCGS, Weintek (威纶通) or other HMI platforms.
• Able to read and understand LV/HV electrical drawings, control schematics and electrical wiring diagrams.
• Able to perform basic PLC logic modification and electrical drawing updates according to project requirements.
• Hands-on commissioning and troubleshooting capability.
• Willingness to travel or work onsite according to project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Onsite delivery, commissioning, testing and troubleshooting of BMS and automation systems for data center projects.
• Perform PLC programming modification, system debugging, functional testing, and commissioning to ensure stable and reliable system operation.
• Configure, commission and troubleshoot SCADA and HMI systems based on project requirements.
• Interpret electrical drawings, control schematics and wiring diagrams, and support electrical installation verification.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal engineering teams during project execution.
• Support FAT, SAT, system integration testing, and project handover.
• Identify and resolve onsite technical issues in a timely manner to ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Prepare commissioning reports, test records and technical documentation.
