Role Description

The Oncology Post Basic Nurse is a full-time, on-site role based in Alor Setar. This role involves providing specialised nursing care to oncology patients, including assessment, monitoring, and support throughout treatment cycles. Daily responsibilities include administering and managing chemotherapy and other oncology treatments according to established protocols, ensuring patient safety, and documenting care accurately. The nurse will educate patients and families about treatment plans, side effect management, and self-care, while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated and compassionate care. The role also includes maintaining infection control standards, participating in case discussions, and contributing to continuous improvement in oncology nursing practices.

Qualifications
