Job summary

KOPERASI KAKITANGAN PETRONAS BHD in Malaysia seeks a dedicated QA/QC Engineer to oversee quality assurance and control activities across our project team. You will monitor, implement and maintain QA/QC processes to ensure compliance with approved specs, procedures, drawings and contractual requirements.

Based at the project site in Pengerang, Johor, you will review ITPs, Method Statements and quality documentation, conduct inspections, coordinate NCRs, and drive corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Experience in QA/QC within construction, EPCC, industrial or Oil & Gas projects is advantageous.
• Understanding of QA/QC processes and documentation.
• Familiar with ITP, Method Statements, NCR and quality documentation.
• Knowledge of engineering standards, project specifications and inspection procedures.
• Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a project team.
• Willing to be based at project site in Pengerang, Johor.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor QA/QC activities throughout project execution.
• Ensure all project activities comply with approved specifications, procedures, drawings and applicable quality standards.
• Review and monitor Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), Method Statements and quality-related documentation.
• Coordinate and conduct inspections, tests and quality verification activities.
• Prepare, review and maintain quality records, inspection reports and relevant documentation.
• Identify, report and follow up on Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Monitor corrective and preventive actions to ensure effective closure of quality issues.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and project teams on quality-related matters.
• Participate in quality audits, inspections and project meetings.
• Ensure proper documentation and traceability of project quality records.
