Job summary

DVI Solutions Asia is seeking a hands-on Project Engineer to support Workplace Technology Solutions across client environments in Kuala Lumpur. The role involves on-site execution, technical coordination, and ensuring successful implementation of integrated workplace systems.

You will oversee installations, conduct testing and commissioning, coordinate with vendors and internal teams, and help plan resources, surveys, and documentation while ensuring safety and standards compliance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Workplace Technology Solutions, AV systems, or IT infrastructure projects.
• Experience working on-site at client locations in a project delivery capacity.
• Hands-on experience with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of workplace technologies.
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals, AV systems, and integrated technologies.
• Experience with video conferencing systems such as Microsoft Teams Rooms or Zoom Rooms and related access control/IoT solutions.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end project delivery for Workplace Technology Solutions, including AV, IT infrastructure, unified communications, and smart workplace systems.
• Work on-site at client locations to oversee installations, troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Conduct site surveys, assessments, and documentation of technical requirements.
• Ensure all installations comply with technical standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.
• Perform system testing, integration, and user acceptance support (UAT).
• Provide technical support during and post-deployment.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including as-built drawings and reports.
