Job summary

Intel Malaysia in Penang is seeking a Product Development Test Technician to coordinate and execute product development test plans, validate prototypes, and analyze test results in a lab setting. You will operate and maintain lab environments, calibrate equipment, and produce detailed reports on findings, contributing to the reliability and performance of Intel's cutting-edge technologies.

The role requires a Diploma in engineering or related field and 1–3 years of hands-on testing experience;

Qualifications

• Diploma in engineering or related field with 1-3 years hands-on testing/validation/administrative experience.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email platforms.
• Familiarity with calibration, maintenance and troubleshooting of lab equipment.
• Knowledge of validation tools and lab administration processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute product development test plans, test sequences, and directed tests.
• Manage POs, check book requests as lab POC.
• Coordinate asset management with lab SOR for compliance.
• Operate and maintain lab environments, equipment and tools for testing and validation.
• Set up and calibrate test equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Observe equipment during operation and provide timely resolutions.
• Record test data, analyze results, and prepare reports with findings.
• Conduct tests to ensure safety and compatibility standards.
