PSA BDP, part of the PSA Group, is looking for an Analytics professional to support Ocean Export Services improvements and business development. You will perform analysis for projects, pricing decisions, productivity, and transition management, collaborating with customers and internal teams to minimize cargo flow disruption.

The role demands strong communication, Excel/PowerPoint proficiency, and experience in freight forwarding or supply chain within a multinational context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; 4–5 years in freight forwarding or supply chain.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Proactive, team player with leadership experience.

Responsabilités

• Build relationships with external customers and PSA BDP operations and other company functional groups.
• Lead engagement with customer suppliers and business groups ensuring minimal disruption to export cargo flow.
• Lead weekly virtual meetings with customers and vendors (Ocean Carrier, Dray Providers, Shipping Sites).
• Perform business and process analysis using data from internal systems and external sources.
• Participate in process improvement projects and lead select initiatives.
• Provide ad hoc analytical support to aid problem solving.
• Produce reports and graphics for internal and external customers.
• Suggest value-adding ideas and anticipate questions or concerns.
• Lead onboarding of new sites/units and ensure regulatory compliance with clients.

Job Summary

Provides analysis, definition and recommendations to support Ocean Export Services improvements, efficiencies and business development. Provides analysis for projects, ad hoc studies, pricing and costing decisions, productivity assessment, process improvement, transition management and corporation training.

Essential Functions

• Build effective relationships and credibility with external customers and within PSA BDP operations and other company functional groups.
• Lead engagement with customer suppliers and business groups ensuring minimal disruption to export cargo flow.
• Lead weekly virtual meetings with customers and vendors (Ocean Carrier, Dray Providers, Shipping Sites)
• Perform business and process analysis using the data and information provided by internal systems and outside sources. Analysis offered includes more than just the numbers. It contains observations and ideas.
• Participate in process improvement teams to determine ways to improve business processes. Ideally taking a lead role for some projects at the appropriate time.
• Provide ad hoc analytical services to assist in problem solving and in times of crisis.
• Produce reports and graphics for internal and external customers.
• Offer ideas with substance that add create value and anticipate questions and concerns. Introducing new ways of thinking.
• Performs other job-related duties and functions as required.
• Lead implementation and assist in follow-up with each new site/BU onboarded
• Work with Client to ensure import/export regulatory compliance

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required with at least four (4) to five (5) years of operational experience in freight forwarding environment or supply chain in MNC.
• Candidate should have the ability to learn operational systems and visibility applications.
• Proficient capabilities in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in English Language
• The ability to work on a team and leadership experience is strongly desired.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proactive, adaptable, and willing to learn
