Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of proven occupational safety and health experience.
• Yellow Book SSS or Green Book SHO certification.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and risk assessment methodologies.
• Experience in safety training and promoting a positive safety culture.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Willingness to work on-site in Johor Bahru.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and implement risk assessments and mitigation measures for site activities (HIRARC).
• Conduct Job Hazard Analyses (JHA) to identify and address safety risks.
• Monitor site safety compliance and report non-conformance to PM and subcontractors.
• Manage Permit to Work (PTW) applications and conduct toolbox talks (TBM).
• Lead safety audits, inspections, and documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate and conduct safety inductions and refresher trainings.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities (JKKP/DOSH, etc.) and advise on safety legislation changes.
• Lead investigations of incidents, accidents, and near misses with root-cause analysis.
