Job summary

PSA BDP in Malaysia is seeking a Logistics Analyst to provide analysis, definitions and recommendations to support Ocean Export Services improvements, efficiencies and business development. You will analyse projects, pricing decisions, productivity and process improvements, and provide solutions with data-driven insights.

Responsibilities include building strong relationships with customers and internal teams, leading engagements with suppliers, and producing reports to support decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with experience in freight forwarding or supply chain.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with data-driven insights.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Build effective relationships with external customers and PSA BDP operations.
• Lead engagement with customer suppliers and business groups to minimize disruption to export cargo flow.
• Lead weekly virtual meetings with customers and vendors (Ocean Carrier, Dray Providers, Shipping Sites).
• Perform business and process analysis using internal systems and external data sources; provide observations and ideas beyond numbers.
• Participate in process improvement teams and lead projects when appropriate.
• Provide ad hoc analytical services to assist in problem solving and crisis situations.
• Produce reports and graphics for internal and external customers.
• Lead implementation and onboarding of new sites/BU and ensure import/export regulatory compliance with client.
