Job summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a strategic Senior Project Manager (Construction) to join our Data Center Development team in Johor. You will lead the on-site execution of a multi-facility data center program, including a critical utility substation, coordinating design, GC, and controls teams to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of project management experience in large-scale construction.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian or Singaporean construction ecosystems.
• Technical mastery in project controls (CPM, earned value, cost tracking) and MEP/CSA systems.
• Experience coordinating utility grid connections or substation builds, ideally with direct TNB familiarity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management; PMP or BEM preferred.
• Full professional proficiency in English; local authorities engagement is important.

Responsibilities

• Lead On-Site Execution: primary delivery lead for a large-scale data center program and substation.
• Direct and monitor GC & Vendor performance under a D&B Turnkey framework.
• Drive utility & power coordination with regional authorities (TNB) to align schedules.
• Control budgets, change orders, and ensure governance compliance.
• Engage Johor councils and agencies for permits, inspections, and handovers.
