Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a proactive Site Engineer for our project in Penang Hill, Malaysia. The role focuses on planning, coordinating, and supervising on-site construction activities to meet timelines, safety, and quality standards.

You will work closely with the Assistant Project Manager, review drawings, prepare method statements, reports, and daily/weekly work programs, and coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Construction, or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of site supervision and construction management experience.
• Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings, plans and technical documents.
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute assignments according to the required timeline and outcomes.
• Assist the APM in planning, coordinating, monitoring, inspecting, and reporting day-to-day activities.
• Reviewing and checking drawings; preparing method statements; daily and weekly reports; other technical documents.
• Engage with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers to share information for effective execution.
• Ensure all construction works comply with safety regulations, legal requirements, and quality standards.
• Supervise and coordinate daily on-site activities to ensure progress aligns with plans and schedules.
• Maintain accurate site records of activities, materials, manpower, and progress.
• Assist in preparation of schedules, budgets, cost tracking, and material requisitions.
