Job summary

Teknik Padu Holdings in Bachok, Kelantan is seeking a Civil Engineer / Civil & Structural Designer for a full-time, on-site role based in Bachok. You will undertake civil and structural design works for infrastructure, buildings and property development projects, including preparing drawings, calculations, specifications and related documentation.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and 2–7 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• 2–7 years of relevant experience in civil and structural design or related projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil and structural engineering principles, design practices, and construction methods.
• Proficiency in preparing engineering drawings, calculations, technical specifications, and design documentation.
• Familiarity with relevant engineering design codes, technical standards, and industry-standard software for design and drafting.
• Good communication, teamwork and project coordination skills.
• Professional registration, or progress towards professional registration, will be considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Carry out civil and structural engineering design works for building and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare engineering drawings, structural calculations, technical specifications, and design documentation.
• Perform structural analysis and evaluate design proposals for technical accuracy and compliance.
• Review drawings and coordinate design requirements with architects, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Ensure designs comply with codes, standards, regulations and client requirements.
• Participate in site inspections, technical reviews and construction-related activities.
• Provide engineering support to resolve design and construction-related issues.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality, safety and timely completion.
