Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a creative Content Creator to lead on-camera hosting, photography, and video production for our social channels. You will capture, edit, and publish compelling content across Xiaohongshu and other platforms, while maintaining a consistent brand voice and visual style.

You will work with a dynamic team to plan content, interpret analytics, and adapt to fast-changing trends. Experience across multiple platforms and strong storytelling are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a content creator, host, or vlogger.
• Comfortable and charismatic on camera—able to host solo or with guests.
• Strong photography skills—proficient in composition, lighting, and photo editing.
• Proficient in video shooting and editing using CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar.
• Strong copywriting skills with attention to grammar and tone.
• Deep understanding of Xiaohongshu’s algorithm and content culture.
• Highly organised with excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
• A team player who proactively offers support to colleagues.
• Familiarity with multiple social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Xiaohongshu).
• Experience using social media scheduling tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite).
• Ability to read and interpret analytics to optimise content performance.
• Basic graphic design skills (Canva or Photoshop) for thumbnails and visual assets.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary on-screen talent for photos & videos product reviews and brand stories.
• Speak naturally and engagingly to the camera with minimal scripting.
• Adapt hosting style to suit educational, entertaining, and promotional content.
• Capture high‑quality product and lifestyle images for social posts; set up lighting and composition.
• Edit and retouch photos using Lightroom/Photoshop; ensure consistency across platforms.
• Plan and storyboard video concepts; operate cameras and lighting for professional footage.
• Edit videos using CapCut, Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve; add graphics and transitions.
• Write captions and headlines that drive engagement and maintain brand voice.
• Manage Xiaohongshu account end‑to‑end and monitor trending topics.
• Repurpose content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
• Organise content calendar and assist with ad-hoc tasks as needed.
