Job summary

Jora Malaysia in Subang Jaya is seeking an experienced content creator and host to develop engaging product reviews and brand stories across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Xiaohongshu. You will manage photography and video shoots, edit with CapCut, Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve, and craft copy that fits platform voices while analysing performance data.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a content creator, host, or vlogger (portfolio required).
Comfortable and charismatic on camera—able to host solo or with guests.
Strong photography skills—proficient in composition, lighting, and photo editing (Lightroom, Photoshop, or similar).
Proficient in video shooting (framing, lighting, audio) and editing (CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar).
Strong copywriting skills with attention to grammar and tone.
Deep understanding of Xiaohongshu’s algorithm, audience behaviour, and content culture.
Highly organised with excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
A team player who proactively offers support to colleagues.
Familiarity with multiple social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Xiaohongshu).
Experience using social media scheduling tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite).
Ability to read and interpret analytics to optimise content performance.
Basic graphic design skills (Canva or Photoshop) for thumbnails and visual assets.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary on-screen talent for photos & videos product reviews, and brand stories.
Speak naturally and engagingly to the camera with minimal reliance on scripts.
Adapt hosting style to suit different content formats (educational, entertaining, promotional).
Capture high-quality product, lifestyle, and behind-the-scenes still images for social media posts.
Set up lighting, composition, and angles to create visually compelling images that align with brand identity.
Edit and retouch photos using software such as Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, or equivalent.
Plan and storyboard video concepts aligned with the content calendar.
Operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment to capture professional-quality footage.
Edit videos using software such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
Add graphics, text overlays, music, and transitions to enhance viewer engagement.
Write compelling, platform-specific captions and headlines that drive clicks and engagement.
Craft clear calls-to-action.
Maintain a consistent brand voice across all written content.
Manage and grow the company's Xiaohongshu account end-to-end.
Stay updated on trending topics, hashtags, and viral content formats.
Apply strategies to build trust and drive conversions.
Analyse performance data and adjust content strategy to improve reach and engagement.
Repurpose video and photo content effectively for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
Schedule and publish posts across different social media channels.
Monitor comments and DMs, engaging with the community to build brand loyalty.
Maintain an organised content calendar and digital asset library for easy team access.
Collaborate with design, copywriting, and sales teams to align content with campaigns.
Step in to assist with urgent or last-minute content requests when required.
