Job summary

Singtel KL (Sudong MY Sdn Bhd) is launching its Shared Services Centre in Kuala Lumpur. We are hiring a Provisioning Engineer to oversee end-to-end provisioning and implementation of telecommunication services, ensuring timely delivery and accurate configuration through effective stakeholder coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in CS/IT/Telecommunications/Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in telecom provisioning, network operations, service delivery, or technical support.
• Experience with telecom provisioning systems or network management tools is advantageous.
• Knowledge of network connectivity, international leased circuits, internet services, and telecom infrastructure.

Provisioning Engineer to oversee the end‑to‑end provisioning and implementation of telecommunication services, ensuring timely service delivery, accurate configuration, and a seamless customer experience through effective stakeholder coordination.

• Service Provisioning & Implementation
• Manage, track, and coordinate the provisioning of telecommunications services, including international leased circuits, global internet, and transport circuits.
• Ensure service implementations are delivered according to project schedules, customer requirements, and operational standards.
• Coordinate provisioning activities with internal teams, system integrators, business partners, and customers to support successful service activation.
• Ensure service diversity requirements are implemented in accordance with operational and customer requirements.
• Service Delivery & Operational Excellence
• Monitor work orders throughout the provisioning lifecycle and ensure timely updates and completion.
• Verify service configurations before commissioning to ensure accuracy and readiness.
• Complete service commissioning activities and close work orders in accordance with operational procedures.
• Maintain accurate customer records, network connectivity information, and network diagrams within designated systems.
• Network Coordination & Customer Support
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to resolve network‑related issues during service implementation.
• Coordinate circuit testing activities with customers and local partners to validate service readiness.
• Provide timely updates to stakeholders throughout the implementation process to support a positive customer experience.
• Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
• Work closely with cross‑functional teams, customers, and external service providers to achieve service delivery objectives.
• Support effective communication between technical and business stakeholders during provisioning activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance provisioning processes and service quality.
• Operational Support
• Maintain accurate documentation and system records to support operational governance and reporting.
• Perform other responsibilities assigned by the reporting manager that are aligned with the role and business requirements.

Skills For Success

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in telecommunications provisioning, network operations, service delivery, or technical support.
• Experience with telecommunications provisioning systems, service management platforms, or network management tools is an advantage.
• Knowledge of network connectivity, international leased circuits, internet services, and telecommunications infrastructure.
• Understanding of provisioning workflows, service implementation, commissioning, and circuit testing processes.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation and network diagrams.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across internal teams, partners, and customers.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver services within agreed timelines in a dynamic operational environment.
