Job summary

GRAND OLIE SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced supervisor to assist in planning, scheduling, and assigning field works within our oil palm estates in Sarawak.

The role focuses on ensuring work aligns with SOPs and company instructions while supervising and motivating a team of workers. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in oil palm plantations, strong leadership, and good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with a valid B2 driving license.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Agriculture / Plantation Management or related discipline.
• 5+ years in the oil palm plantation industry.
• Knowledge of jungle land clearing, nursery, planting, maintenance, and management of oil palm plantation.
• Understanding of labour laws, estate operation, environment, and safety requirements.
• Dynamic personality with initiative and ability to work in challenging environments.
• Strong leadership and good organizational skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluent English and Bahasa Malaysia written and spoken.
• Experience in peat development is an advantage.
• Must possess a valid B2 driving license.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Assistant Manager / Manager in planning, scheduling, and assigning field works/activities to workers.
• Ensure the work performed complies with SOPs and company instructions.
• Supervise and motivate workers.
• Ensure health and safety measures and guidelines are followed.
• Assist in managing estate areas including land development, maintenance of optimum crop production, cost management, and overall estate operations.
