Job summary

Offshore Frontier Solutions is seeking an experienced Engineer, Information Systems based in KL, Malaysia. The role focuses on building and operating data stores, pipelines, and BI solutions to drive scalable analytics.

You will design practical data models, enforce standards, and modernize architectures from on-prem to cloud, delivering robust dashboards and reports with governance and performance in mind.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Engineering/Data Analytics within the Oil & Gas EPC industry.
• Experience deploying an end-to-end data solution is highly valuable.
• Oil & Gas domain experience.

Responsibilities

• Support data pipelines, databases, BI workspaces, and BI reports.
• Design, build, and operate batch data pipelines.
• Develop ETL/ELT using SQL and Python with reusable frameworks.
• Optimize data models; leverage incremental refresh and aggregations.
• Collaborate with business teams to ensure governance and data quality.
