Job summary

OFS Malaysia, a MODEC Group company, is seeking an experienced Engineer, Information Systems to design, build, operate and continuously improve databases, data pipelines and BI solutions in Kuala Lumpur. Based at KL Eco City, this role supports information management and analytics across the organization.

You will develop ETL/ELT with SQL and Python, create Power BI reports with secure data access, and collaborate with business teams to translate requirements into scalable data architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in IT/CS/Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years in Data Engineering/Data Analytics in Oil & Gas EPC
• Experience deploying end-to-end data solutions in the sector

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate batch data pipelines
• Develop ETL/ELT using SQL and Python; enforce standards
• Design practical data models and optimize SQL
• Ensure data quality via tests and governance
• Design, build, and operate Power BI reports and dashboards
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather BI requirements
