Job summary

EP2C Energy is seeking an SPS Mechanical Completion & Quality Control Coordinator for a Kuala Lumpur-based residential contract. The role oversees readiness, conformity, mechanical completion and handover of SPS equipment, coordinating inspections and QA across multiple facilities.

Requirements include an engineering degree and 5–10 years in quality control, inspection, or equipment delivery on subsea/offshore projects.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent, with hands-on experience in SPS equipment.
• 5 to 10 years of professional experience in quality control, inspection, mechanical completion and/or equipment delivery within subsea or offshore projects.
• Proficiency in English; French is a plus.
• Rigorous attention to detail, strong organisational skills and effective communication abilities.
• Team player, comfortable working in an international and multicultural environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate SPS quality assurance and QC activities with the SPS Quality Lead.
• Inform Project Leads on activity status and required actions.
• Coordinate third-party inspection services and review reports.
• Perform selected QC inspections at contractor and vendor locations.
• Expedite components on the critical path and monitor deliveries.
• Assist with handover documentation and release workflows.
• Support audits, vendor approvals and NCR/TQ/RCA/Lessons Learned registers.
• Contribute to project close-out and continuous improvement.
