Job summary

ELSA is seeking an experienced Deck Crew member for offshore facilities, based in Malaysia. The role involves supporting daily offshore operations, rigging and lifting activities, and ensuring safety and order on deck.

You will inspect equipment, adhere to PTW and HSE standards, and participate in emergency response as required. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of offshore deck crew experience, holds an Offshore Pedestal Crane Operator Course Level 2, and possesses offshore medical,

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as Deck Crew on an offshore facility.
• Experience in rigging and lifting equipment inspection.
• Offshore Pedestal Crane Operator Course Level 2 is required.
• A recognized educational certificate or equivalent industry certificate.
• PTW Training from PETRONAS or another operator is required.
• Offshore Medical and BOSIET certificates must be valid.
• Damage Control Team or Emergency Response Team training is required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out deck crew duties and support daily offshore operations.
• Perform rigging and lifting activities in accordance with approved procedures and safety requirements.
• Conduct inspection of rigging and lifting equipment and report any defects or unsafe conditions.
• Support offshore crane and lifting operations as required.
• Ensure deck areas, equipment, and materials are maintained in a safe and orderly condition.
• Comply with Permit to Work (PTW), HSE, and other offshore requirements.
• Participate in emergency response activities as assigned.
• Perform other duties related to deck operations as directed by the supervisor.
