Job summary

ELSA seeks an experienced Offshore Night Drilling Supervisor to monitor well operations and report performance against work programs for offshore Malaysia. You will coordinate with Drilling Contractors and Well Services Supervisors to ensure safety, efficiency and cost-effectiveness of operations.

The role requires extensive offshore experience, IWCF well control certification, and a track record of maintaining safety standards while delivering detailed daily reports and lessons learned.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report on all Well Operations (drilling and well intervention) to ensure Safe Work Programs are conducted safely and efficiently.
• Liaise with Drilling Contractors and Well Services Supervisors to ensure planned operations are executed safely.
• Maintain highest safety standards and ensure compliance with Regulatory Authority and COMPANY requirements.
• Review Basis of Design and Drilling/Completion Programmes and related procedures.
• Prepare daily reports identifying failures, lost time, and lessons learned.
• Report Safety Related Incidents or Non-Conformances and actions taken.
• Suggest improvements to offshore operations to optimize performance and minimize Non-Productive Time.
• Analyze operational problems with onshore/offshore teams to support corrective actions.
• Understand COMPANY BMS and related procedures.
• Track chemical use against PON XV B and F.
