• Valid registration and licensure in Malaysia
• Knowledge of evidence-based rehabilitation techniques

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and identify rehabilitation needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based therapy to improve mobility and independence.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans as required.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercises and self-management.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure therapy areas and equipment are clean and safe.
• Participate in team meetings and CPD.
• Comply with policies and ethical guidelines.

About the role

NJOY Wellness Rehab Centre is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist/Physiotherapist to join our growing team in Segamat, Johor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality rehabilitation and therapeutic services to our diverse patient population. As an Occupational Therapist/Physiotherapist, you will be at the forefront of our mission to help individuals regain independence, improve their functional abilities, and enhance their quality of life through evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

Physiotherapist / Occupational Therapist – Job Responsibilities

Assess patients and identify their rehabilitation needs.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patients' goals.

Provide evidence-based therapy to improve mobility, function, independence, and quality of life.

Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as required.

Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and self-management strategies.

Maintain accurate and timely patient records and clinical documentation.

Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Ensure therapy equipment and treatment areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Participate in case discussions, team meetings, and continuous professional development.

Comply with the centre's policies, professional standards, and ethical guidelines.

Perform other duties assigned by the management when required.

Job Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy or a related rehabilitation discipline from a recognized institution

Valid professional registration and licensure as an Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist in Malaysia

Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques, rehabilitation protocols and evidence-based practice in physiotherapy and/or occupational therapy

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds

Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment

Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to priorities multiple patient cases
