Job summary

Klinik Yap & Partner Malaysia is seeking a committed Occupational Therapist in Johor to assess and plan treatments for students. You will work with families to implement activities at home while maintaining current knowledge of therapy practices and progress.

The role requires Mandarin language ability to effectively serve Mandarin-speaking customers; a full-time position with patient-focused care and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy.
• Up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices and therapy programmes.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Comfortable using a computer for various tasks.
• Ability to assess students and work with treatment plans.
• Mandarin language ability to serve Mandarin-speaking customers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical and psychological assessments of clients and develop or follow a treatment plan.
• Advise activities to parents/family for daily practice for the students.
• Evaluate results and progress every 3 months.
• Maintain professional knowledge and progress to provide the best treatment programmes.
• Provide family support to work at home with their child.
• Serve Mandarin-speaking customers.

Job description

Conducting physical and psychological assessments of clients and developing or following a treatment plan.

Advising the effective activities to parents or family members for daily practice for the students.

Evaluating results and progress of students every 3 months.

Maintaining professional knowledge and the technical progress in order to provide students with the best treatment programmes available.

Giving advises and support to the family to work at home with their own child.

Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in occupational therapy.

Possess up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices and physical therapy programs, hand-writing programmes, deep pressure joint massaging and any relevant programmes.

Excellent interpersonal communication skills.

Comfortable using a computer for various tasks.

Ability to assess students conditions and work with treatment plans.
