Job description

Conduct pre-employment, periodic, and return-to-work medical examinations.

Assess and manage work-related injuries, illnesses, and medical conditions.

Provide expert medical opinions on employee fitness for work.

Occupational Health Programs:

Develop and implement workplace health and wellness programs.

Monitor employees' health ECG interpretationtrends and recommend preventive measures.

Promote vaccination, mental health support, and lifestyle improvement initiatives.

Workplace Safety and Compliance:

Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.

Conduct workplace risk assessments and recommend hazard control measures.

Collaborate with safety officers and HR to enforce health policies.

Health Education and Training:

Conduct training sessions on workplace health, ergonomics, and first aid.

Educate employees on occupational diseases, stress management, and injury prevention.

Provide guidance on emergency response and crisis management.

Incident Management and Reporting:

Investigate workplace health incidents and provide medical reports.

Liaise with government health agencies and insurance providers when necessary.

Employee Support and Counselling:

General Responsibilities:

Stay updated with the latest occupational health trends and research.

Ensure adherence to company health policies and medical best practices.

Perform other related duties as required to enhance workplace health and safety.

Health Screening Unit

Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of health screening programs.

Actively participate in outreach activities, including health campaigns, roadshows, and corporate wellness events.

Prepare and submit comprehensive monthly reports detailing the performance and outcomes of the Health Screening Unit.

Collaborate with the Marketing Department to develop and promote new health screening packages and related marketing initiatives.

Clinical Duties, Tests and Procedures

Request, review, and interpret diagnostic laboratory investigations.

Request, review, and interpret relevant radiological examinations.

Prescribe and manage appropriate drug and fluid therapy.

Provide emergency medical care including resuscitation when required.

Administer and oversee immunisation and vaccination programs.

Conduct occupational medical surveillance in accordance with workplace exposure risks.

Assess and certify employee fitness to work and work-related medical restrictions.

Perform and interpret audiometry for hearing conservation programs.

Perform and interpret spirometry for respiratory health assessment and surveillance.

EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS

Education

Master's Degree in Occupational Health & Doctor of Medicine.

Requirements
